Mr Seed shares poignant message reflecting how Betty Bayo believed in him

Mr Seed has shared an emotional message while remembering that his first-ever wedding and ruracio performance was at the late Betty Bayo’s event.

In his words on Monday, November 24, 2025, he explained that Betty believed in him long before many people knew his name and trusted him even when he was still in high school.

He said, “My 1st ever harusi/Ruracio kusimamia ilikuwa yako. You believed in me, hadi hiyo sector. You believed in me, nikiwa bado high school, and gave me a chance to work with you.” He added that it has been difficult for him to accept the bitter reality of her death.

Mr Seed celebrates Betty Bayo

Mr Seed went on to honour Betty Bayo on what would have been her 40th birthday. He shared a heartfelt message saying, “Happy birthday to you, Bayo. My 1st and last Groove Awards I got through you. You were a blessing to me. Today, you celebrate your birthday with angels. I celebrate you today. Happy birthday in heaven.”

He described her as someone who helped many people through her talent and also supported him through different stages of his career. He said she was not only a friend but also a big sister to him.

He also revealed a side of Betty that many people did not know about. “You blessed so many people with your talent, but you blessed me a lot by being my friend and big sister. What most people don’t know is that you were also a comedian. I will miss you forever, Bayo.”

His message showed the bond they shared and the influence she had on his life from the early days of his music journey.

After the death of Betty Bayo, Mr Seed was seen spending time with her children in an effort to comfort them during the difficult moment. He surprised them with a visit and played an old song that he sang together with Betty.

The moment showed how close they were as a family and how much he valued the relationship he had with Betty and her children. Mr Seed’s tribute has painted a picture of a long friendship built on support, trust and shared memories.
