He noted that even when relationships are strained, families are often forced to communicate and work together to meet the demands of their clients.
According to Morara, family businesses provide a sense of responsibility and teamwork that keeps members engaged and connected.
He said that the shared obligation to satisfy customers ensures that families stay united, regardless of any conflicts that may arise at home.
“There is a way that a family business bonds a family together. I always encourage my friends to have a family business. It doesn’t matter what you disagreed on yesterday with your wife, your husband, your son or your daughter; there is this client who is asking why the delivery has not arrived,” Kebaso stated.

Morara also clarified the difference between running a family business and simply employing relatives in one’s company. He stressed that his call was about building enterprises owned and managed collectively by families, not just giving jobs to family members.
He encouraged people to think long-term by investing in businesses that would not only provide income but also strengthen the fabric of their families.
“You need to talk even when the relationship is strained. TAKE NOTE: There is a difference between a family business and employing family members in your business. I’m talking about a family business,” he added.
