Mkamburi Chigogo shares hilarious encounter with angry cleaner at a Westlands mall

According to Chigogo, the encounter involved a cleaning lady whose anger was almost tangible. On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, on the radio, she said that as soon as he entered the mall, he noticed her scrubbing a mirror with visible frustration.
“Nikaingia kwenye mall moja pale Westlands, niliskia kujisaidia. Unaona wale madam, kuna watu ambao ni kazi yao kusafisha. So already nimeingia, huyu madam alikua tu na hasira. You could feel the aura… Unaingia tu mtu hata hajakuongelesha, but vile tu anafuta ile kioo. Anafuta na hasira,” she explained.
Chigogo said she went about her business and later, as she was leaving the mall, witnessed the cleaning lady in another unusual situation. A woman was trying to pass by while she continued cleaning with a mop.
Chigogo described the scene, saying that wherever the woman went, the mop seemed to follow, almost as if it had a mind of its own. The cleaning lady instructed the woman where to walk, warning her not to step in certain areas, and the woman complied.
Mop follows the woman
Mkamburi Chigogo described the incident as both hilarious and slightly chaotic. She said, “Huyu mrembo akienda left, mop inaenda left. Akienda right, mop inaenda right. Akaambiwa pita na huku, usikanyage hapo! The lady just obliged.”
At one point, Chigogo approached, concerned that the situation might escalate, but the cleaning lady suddenly swung the mop in his direction.
She explained that she calmly asked her if everything was okay and told her to take it slowly.
“Akachukua ile mop akanirushi amaji aka ni mop miguu. Nikamuuliza ni nini? Pole pole tu. Nikamuuliza, are you okay? Umekua na hasira. Akaniangalia, aka click,” Chigogo said, describing the end of the bizarre encounter.
Chigogo’s narrative not only entertains but also reminds people to stay calm and observant, even when faced with an angry stranger or an unpredictable mop.
The Westlands mall incident will likely be remembered by Chigogo for its mix of tension, surprise, and laughter.
