Lydia Wanjiru recalls scary night after Frank Doso’s oxygen dropped
By Valerian Khakayi, August 16, 2025Social media influencer Lydia Wanjiru has recalled a frightening night when her partner, Leone Frank Doso, experienced dangerously low oxygen levels while he was still hospitalised.
Taking to her official Instagram account on Friday, August 15, 2025, Wanjiru revealed that the first time Doso attempted to walk that night, his oxygen dropped sharply, and he had to be given supplemental oxygen.
She says the event promoter panicked and borrowed a phone to speak with her, fearing he might not make it through the night.
Reflecting on the ordeal, she expressed gratitude, noting that only God knows the fears and scares they endured. She described Doso’s recovery as a testimony of divine intervention.

“The first time he walked, that night, his body ran low on oxygen and had to be given some. He had panicked so much that he borrowed a phone to speak to me. He thought he wouldn’t make it. After we spoke, he calmed and actually slept,” she recounted.
“By morning, his oxygen level was back to normal. @frank_doso only God knows the scares we’ve had to endure. God has given us a testimony for His glory.”

Discharge
He was discharged from the hospital on July 30, 2025, two weeks after being admitted following a fall from the fourth floor of a building.
Lydia took to her Instagram account and informed her fans about the discharge.
“It’s truly a good morning. Yes, Frank Doso was discharged yesterday. This is a testimony because two weeks ago, this didn’t scom possible. But God, God truly listened and answered each of our prayers. Thank you for standing with us throughout and for the incredible support. May the good Lord also come through for you in your point of needs,” she wrote on July 31.
“As the recovery is still ongoing, especially on physiotherapy, medication and regular check-ups, we still ask for your prayers. What God can’t do doesn’t exist.”

Doso’s accident
The influencer further shared that her partner, Doso, suffered a tragic fall from the fourth floor of an apartment, resulting in a severe pelvic fracture, muscle tear, internal bleeding, and an acute kidney complication.
“Dear friends, fans and well-wishers, I’m reaching out with a hopeful heart. Leone Frank Dovozecently suffered a tragic fall from the 4th floor of an apartment. He sustained a severe pelvic fracture, muscle tear, internal bleeding and had to undergo an hour-long life-saving surgery. Due to the shock and trauma, he got an acute kidney complication, which he’s now undergoing dialysis to recover from and stabilise. He’s in HDU for critical care so only close family members can see him,” she added.
