KRG said, “Take some time off your busy schedule and register as a voter kwa sababu hio kura yako ndio itachange mambo yetu sote in 2027 General elections. He stressed the importance of active participation from young people and women in shaping Nairobi’s future.

He spoke about the challenges residents have faced under past leadership, claiming that previous leaders have neglected the needs of the people.

He said this disconnect has caused suffering for many residents, and he believes someone who truly understands local issues is needed to lead effectively.

KRG positioned himself as a candidate who is familiar with Nairobi’s problems and ready to work alongside residents to bring meaningful solutions. Tuchange Nairobi yetu.” His campaign message focuses on engagement, unity, and addressing local issues that have been ignored by leaders he described as outsiders.

KRG’s announcement comes early, giving him time to mobilise supporters and outline his plans for the city. His promise to tackle the problems of Nairobi and represent residents who feel neglected is central to his campaign.

The musician officially announced his bid in an event attended by some political leaders, including Siaya Governor James Orengo, among others.
