Kambua left surprised by her daughter’s curious question
By Paulette Mboga, July 28, 2025Celebrated gospel singer and media personality Kambua Manundu was recently left in stitches after her 3-year-old daughter made an unexpected and hilarious request — she wanted to go back to breastfeeding.
Kambua shared the moment on her Instagram Stories on Monday, July 28, 2025, surprising her fans with the innocent but funny exchange she had with little Nathalie.
The singer said her daughter has been missing the days she used to breastfeed and even suggested that her mum could pour formula milk into her breasts so she could suckle again.
Taking it to Instagram, Kambua wrote, “My 3-yo is trying to understand how she used to drink milk from me. I told her mama’s milk dried up, and the shop closed! She said, ‘Let’s get the formula and put it in your nyonyo mama.”

Enjoying the gift of motherhood
The lighthearted moment comes as a blessing for Kambua, who struggled for years to have children. She has, in the past, opened up about the emotional pain of waiting and hoping to become a mother.
Through patience, prayer, and resilience, she was eventually blessed with two children, a son and daughter, making her story one of triumph and restoration.
Now a proud mum, Kambua finds joy in everyday moments, whether they are funny, emotional, or tender. She often shares her parenting journey online, letting her fans in on the ups and downs of raising children.
The bond between her and her kids is strong, and she’s intentional about making motherhood meaningful.
Teaching on love, laughter and faith
Kambua also uses her platform to speak on the importance of nurturing children with love, faith, and honesty. From guiding them through big life questions to laughing at their silly comments, she embraces every stage of parenting with warmth and grace.
Her followers admire how she finds time to pour into her family, even as she continues with her music and ministry work.
Kambua’s experience shows that motherhood is filled with unexpected, beautiful moments. What once seemed impossible is now her reality, and she cherishes it all — even the funny times when her daughter thinks formula can go back into “nyonyo.”
