TikToker Vincent Kaluma is seizing life with both hands, if his latest TikTok videos are anything to go by.

The young content creator, who recently went viral after Kenyans came together to help him raise money for his ailing father, shared a video on Thursday, October 23, 2025, swimming in a well-kept pool, leaving many of his followers celebrating how far he has come.

In the video, Kaluma confidently showcases his swimming skills, pulling off a series of playful stunts, including one where he jumps from the pool’s edge and backflips into a floater, much to the amusement of his fans.

He also added a warm message encouraging his followers to learn how to swim.

“Kijana yenu hajui kuswim,” he wrote.

The uplifting video comes just weeks after a wave of life-changing events that have turned Kaluma’s story from one of hardship to hope.

Earlier this month, Bishop Ben Kiengei of Jesus Compassion Ministry (JCM) revealed that Kaluma would officially report to university on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

The announcement came during a Sunday service at the church, where the bishop expressed joy at the teenager’s transformation and growing faith, noting that he now appeared healthier and more hopeful.

“Hi Kaluma, I see you came to church today, and you look very smart. I can tell you are happy again, and everyone here can see the joy on your face. Come here to the pulpit and greet us. Imagine how God has remembered your family, your father is recovering, and you yourself are doing well. You even look healthier now,” Bishop Ben said.

Kaluma, who recently received a full scholarship to study sales and marketing with a focus on digital marketing at the East African University, has become a symbol of resilience and divine restoration.

The scholarship was confirmed by the university’s vice chancellor, Dr Christopher Mutembei, who pledged to support him in building his digital skills.

The turnaround in his life began after Kenyans were moved by emotional videos he posted showing his dedication to caring for his bedridden father in Othaya, Nyeri.

His story inspired nationwide fundraisers that saw hundreds of well-wishers, influencers, and members of the Nduthi Culture movement travel to his home to offer help.

The support, which included over Ksh2 million raised during a thanksgiving service at JCM Church, medical aid, and even land donations, eventually led to the transfer of his father to Jumuia Mission Hospital for specialised treatment.
