Huddah Monroe: Your brain can mistake lust for love

By , November 27, 2025

Kenyan socialite Huddah Monroe has cautioned women about confusing physical attraction with true love.

In a post on her Instagram on Thursday, November 27, 2025, Huddah explained that the body’s natural chemicals can sometimes make people believe they are in love when it is actually lust. She pointed out that during intimate moments, the brain releases oxytocin, a hormone that creates strong feelings of attachment.

Huddah urged women to pause and reflect on their relationships before making serious decisions. She explained that the brain can misinterpret these hormonal signals, making someone feel like their partner is the right person to marry and build a future with, even if it is not the case.

“Sometimes the oxytocin your brain releases during sex makes you think you are in love. Your body confuses your brain into thinking this is the partner you have to marry & reproduce with. Sit back & reevaluate,” Huddah Monroe stated.

Huddah Monroe’s message comes days after she shared a flirty exchange she had with American rapper Rick Ross.

On her official Instagram account on Sunday, November 23, 2025, Huddah posted screenshots from her DMs showing that Rick Ross had initiated the playful conversation, boldly stating that she belongs to him.

“You are mine,” Rick Ross’s message reads.

Huddah quickly responded in a similar tone, writing, “You are mine too.”

She also expressed her willingness to follow his lead, adding, “I’ll do anything you say coz you YOU THE BOSS.”

This comes shortly after Huddah revealed her desire to get married, explaining that it would allow her to avoid other men.

“I can’t wait to be married, so I never have to talk to another man ever again,” she wrote. “Unless I want to see you, you will never see me.”
