Award-winning musician Diamond Platnumz says his girlfriend Tanasha Oketch has not yet given birth, contrary to the rumour mill which alleges that the Kenyan radio presenter gave birth to a bouncing baby boy last week.
Speaking to Tanzania’s Bongo5.com last weekend while taking part in a mountain-climbing event dubbed Twenzetu Kileleni mwa Mt. Kilimanjaro, the musician revealed he has mega plans to celebrate the birth of his fourth child.
“When my lover gives birth, I will take her to one of the game reserves in Tanzania and spend quality time with her and my son,” the Make Me Sing star said.
“By doing that, I will be advertising Tanzania’s tourism destinations. When our son turns 40 days old, we will also hold the celebrations in one of the tourism destinations in the country,” said Diamond Platnumz.
His revelation brings to an end allegations that Tanasha gave birth last week after being induced into labour, and that the radio host is currently under the care of the singer’s mother, Sanura Kassim, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
On July 7, 2019, Diamond revealed that he and his partner were expecting a baby boy, who was due for birth anytime in September.
The baby will be 24-year-old Tanasha’s first child, whereas he will be Diamond’s fourth child, given he has a son and a daughter with his ex-lover, Zari Hassan, and a son with video vixen-turned-musician Hamisa Mobetto.
Diamond and Tanasha began dating in November 2018, nine months after the artiste went separate ways with Zari Hassan, whom he had dated for three years.
Zari had accused the musician of infidelity.
