Flaqo says Nyakwar Janeko’s online persona reflects her real-life character
By Valerian Khakayi, August 12, 2025Digital content creator and musician Erastus Otieno, widely known as Flaqo Raz, has disclosed that his aunt, the famous TikToker Caroline Auma, alias Nyakwar Janeko’s, social media personality reflects her real-life character.
Speaking during an interview with Oga Obinna on Monday night, August 11, 2025, Flaqo said that he is not surprised by the character Nyakwar displays on social media, especially on TikTok, since it is her personality.
In addition, he added that even in real life, she does not filter her words.
“Nyakwar Janeko is my mum’s younger sister, she is that type of aunt, ananijua vile nilikuwa mdogo. Mimi siko surprised sababu amekuwanga hivyo; I am used to her hivyo si ati ni personality ya social media she is just like that that is her zero filters,” he disclosed.
Flaqo on Mama Otis’ character
The content creator went on to say that the character he plays, Mama Otis, has the voice of Nyakwar, while the behaviours are derived from his biological mother

Janeko’s and Flaqo’s ties
This comes after the Tiktoker, during a past interview with Oga Obinna, disclosed that she is indeed Flaqo’s aunt, noting that he is the son of her elder sister.
“Mama Flaqo and I share the same father, Flaqo is the child of our firstborn. My dad had three wives. So even how Flaqo talks, he talks like me, his auntie, so you see sikuona vibaya akitumia sauti.“Nyakwar told Obinna.
When asked if she feels Flaqo has gained fame using her voice, she said that she considers him her son, and there is nothing wrong with him using her voice in his skits.

She further revealed that while doing her online content, some netizens who have no idea about their family ties questioned why she is imitating Flaqo’s voice.
