Eric Omondi has been leading philanthropic initiatives to help Kenyans in financial distress but he refuses to come to the rescue of broke music producer Magix Enga.

The comedian-turned-philanthropist while speaking during an interview with a local news outlet said he was aware of Magic Enga’s situation but he chose to steer clear of him because of his links with satanic cult Illuminati.

Eric Omondi expressed concern about the credibility of Magic Enga’s plea for financial assistance, considering the previous statement he made about being a member of the Illuminati.

“I checked, for example, in the case of Magix Enga, there was a time he said he was Illuminati and that he said there was money there. How do I come again and tell Kenyans that this person needs help? Kenyans will not take me seriously when I come with a serious health issue,” Eric Omondi said.

Magix Enga publicly confessed that he was a member of the dreaded Illuminati in a January 2022 interview.

The music producer claimed that he joined Illuminati at age 23 to gain fame and wealth.

Speaking to a local YouTuber, Magix Enga revealed that he joined the underworld community due to the tough life he was living back at his home.

Wajua kitambo ilikuwa ni either uende Kanisa ama ufanye venye iko ndio upate pesa. So mimi niliona ‘aish bro! nitaomoka lini? Mashida mtaani bro; sina gari, sina kitu yoyote so ikabidi niingie huko,” he narrated.

From grace to grass

Magix Enga came out to plead for financial assistance in October 2023.

The music producer lamented that poverty had attacked him like armed robbers, denying him the ability to put bread on the table.

“Right now am writing this I have 1 one-month-old baby boy who is depending on me. I tried to pull myself together but the studio I was working was shut down because of rent issues,” Magix Enga said.

“Our president Dr. William Samoei Ruto I can urge you to please help me in whatever support you can starting from the music industry to my colleague,” he added.
