Eric Omondi was hit with undergarments while performing on stage in Kampala, Uganda on July 14 2023.

Omondi was among several funnymen who thrilled revellers at an event dubbed Comedy Store that was held at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds in Kampala last Friday.

The Kenyan comedian took to social media and shared a clip showing women throwing their panties and bras at him.

In the post, Omondi claimed that he couldn’t even perform in Kampala because the women kept hitting him with their undergarments.

Yesterday was a very Sad day😥😥😥. I got to Kampala late and I couldn’t even perform my set because the ladies kept throwing their Bras and Panties at me😥😥😥😥. I know you love me Uganda but that was too Much😥😥😥😥😥. Honestly,” Eric Omondi wrote.

Stage-managed

Eric Omondi came clean about the incident in Kampala while speaking during a telephone interview with Radio Jambo.

The comedian said the drama was stage-managed and that it was part of his comedy set to make the crowd laugh.

Omondi noted that even though he organized to have some women in the hall throw panties and bras at him, he didn’t pay them.
