Controversial Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi has sparked reactions after launching a scathing attack on popular Netflix show, Young, Famous & African producers.
In an update on his Instagram page, the comic claimed that the format used in the reality show is similar to that of his show, Wife Material.
Eric argued that someone might have picked the concept of Wife Material show and created his own or it was just a coincidence.
“The format used in Young, Famous & African is the same format for Wife Material. It’s either someone has been watching and stole the format from us or it’s a really good coincidence,” the comic wrote.
Young, Famous & African which is mostly unscripted follows a crew of famed affluent stars as they work and play, flirt and feud in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The show features a group of wealthy young media personalities, musicians and fashion icons as they pursue their dreams, find love and reignite old romances.

Two days after its release, the show was trending in Kenya after Diamond ‘murdered’ English during a date with Nadia Nakai on the show.
It all started when the Bongo star was asked how old he was and in a response that took social media by a storm, he said he was 31st-years-old.
“How old are you?” Nakai asked to which the singer responded, “I’m 31st.”
