Fashion entrepreneur Bolo Bespoke, on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, orchestrated a deeply emotional reunion that left his wife Mueni visibly overwhelmed as he surprised her upon her return from China after a month away.

In a video shared on YouTube by Trudy Kitui, the two could be seen reuniting at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, where Bolo greeted Mueni with a beautifully crafted custom portrait of her.

Alongside the portrait, he presented her with an enormous bouquet of flowers adorned with a “Welcome Home” sign, amplifying the heartfelt atmosphere of the moment.

In the video, Mueni was seen shedding tears of joy as she leaned heavily on her husband for support, overcome with emotion by the thoughtful surprise.

Bolo, appearing equally excited, radiated happiness as he carefully guided his wife through the arrival terminal, his joy at having her back unmistakable.

Mueni had travelled to China on July 15, 2025, a decision born out of a mutual vision and sacrifice to pursue new opportunities that would ultimately benefit their family.

During her absence, Bolo openly shared their journey on social media, highlighting both the emotional challenges of separation and the determination they share to build a better future together.

Harambee stars gift

During the occasion, the jubilant couple took a moment to catch up on the whirlwind of events that had unfolded across the country while Mueni was away.

Among the highlights was the remarkable gesture by several well-wishers, including their close friends, the Bahatis, who had promised to gift Harambee Stars players a whopping Ksh1 million following their emphatic 1-0 triumph over Morocco.

Fuelled by the nation’s pride, the ecstatic duo boldly vowed to present every member of the team with two custom-made suits after their victorious final matches, an announcement that sparked thunderous applause from their entourage.

“You know why I call myself ‘Fundi ni Mmoja Africa’? It is because I see a brighter future for Africa. So, if Kenya clinches the CHAN title, I will personally tailor two suits for every single player on the team, two suits, no less. When they win, let it be on record: Bespoke City is going to outfit every player with two bespoke suits. That is non-negotiable,” Bolo declared with unwavering certainty.

When pressed on whether this grand gesture was a shared decision or solely his own, Mueni was resolute, insisting that whatever her husband decides is final.

She expressed her wholehearted support for the personal gift to the national heroes.

“What Bolo wants, Bolo gets, that is how it works between us. We stand united. If he wants to do this, then we will make it happen because my husband and I are one. We never disagree, and if Kenya wins, it is our victory too,” she affirmed with pride and conviction.
