Wow! Konshens’ New Year Eve party, at the Carnivore grounds in Nairobi, was too lit, according to this mess where Sauti Sol’s member Bien Aime and comedian Eric Omondi exchanged bitter words.
In a video that surfaced online, Bien confronted Omondi over his supposed fight to ensure Kenyan artistes do not curtain raise for international counterparts.
In his argument, Bien sided with his bandmate Savara who had previously disagreed with Omondi noting that it’s really not about being the last or the first performer as long as artistes are given good money.
However, Omondi could hear none of it and claimed that Sauti Sol’s logic and approach to the matter is wrong since they are considered to be among the best in the game and have already ‘made it’ in the industry.
“Who performs last doesn’t matter, I’ve been given my money,” Bien stated.
On his part, Omondi claimed he is fighting for upcoming artistes like the gengetone singers.
“Kazi yangu ni kuwasaidia. Its about the upcoming artistes,” Omondi said.
On the contrary, Bien believes Omondi is fighting for himself since his ‘career is on deathbed’
After the ‘fight’ the two are seen walking away laughing and embracing each other.
