Socialite Amber Ray and businessman Kennedy Rapudo are no longer an item if their recent spat on social media is anything to go by.
Amber announced her break up with Rapudo in a post on her Instagram Status on Wednesday morning, leaving her fans confused considering the couple was expecting their first baby together.
“A new day to start as a single mother of two,” the beauty wrote, adding the hashtag “#Donewithlove”.
Rapudo, a flashy city businessman, confirmed the breakup in a social media post a few hours later and threatened to spill the beans on the cause of the fallout with Amber in less than two months.
“A lie has so many variations the truth has none. In less than 2 months, we’ll all know the truth and the cause of the breakup,” Rapudo said.
The post, however, appeared to have rubbed Amber the wrong way as she vowed to defend her truth no matter what.
She claimed that her ex-fiance was out to “tarnish her name”, just like other men she has been involved with before.
“Kuna hii tabia ya watu wakitoka in my life they run to social media and start tarnishing my name and I’ve always kept quiet and their secrets till to date… but I’m tired now. If any of my exes (friends or boyfriends) comes for me, we jua I’m will to go to hell and come back! This time I will fight for myself!” Amber wrote.
This is, however, not the first time the couple is breaking up.
In September last year, they parted ways citing “structural irreconcilable differences.”
The lovers, however, reunited a month later when Rapudo apologized with a thousand roses.
The rumour about their latest break-up has been around for nearly a month now after they unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted photos of themselves from their timelines early this month.
Amber and Rapudo announced they were expecting their first child together on January 4.
The two have one kid each from their previous relationships and got engaged in Dubai in November 2022.
Amber was previously involved with businessman Jamal Marlow. They ended their relationship in July 2021.
