Actor Dedan Juma appeals for financial help over medical bill

Actor Dedan Juma, popularly known as Zeze, has appealed to Kenyans for help in raising funds to cover his growing medical bills.

In a heartfelt post on his X account on Monday, August 11, 2025, Juma revealed that he has been admitted to Kenyatta University Referral Hospital for the past five days, battling meningitis.

According to his family, his medical expenses have already reached Ksh100,000 and continue to rise daily.

Public plea for assistance

Juma’s post carried a deeply personal message to his fans and fellow Kenyans.

“Greetings to you fellow Kenyans, I am kindly appealing to you, my fans and kind fellow Kenyan community, whoever is in a position to help. This is a difficult journey alone, I hope and pray that you can stand with me in this. I appreciate any support,” he wrote in the caption accompanying his appeal.
