Gospel artiste Moses Tarus Omondi alias Mr. Seed claims that Willy Paul is too proud to support projects of fellow artistes.

Mr. Seed, who recently launched his music album, made the damning allegations at a radio interview with renowned radio host Willy M. Tuva and Selly Kadot.

Asked why he did not invite Willy Paul to his star studded album launch, the Papa God hitmaker claimed that inviting Willy would have been an exercise in futility that was better off avoided.

“I did not bother inviting him to my album launch because I was sure he could have not showed up. Even if I would have sent him an invitation, Willy Paul would still not have turned up. Willy Paul never supports anyone. Ask artistes out here, he is full of himself and only focuses on his personal projects,” he told the radio hosts.

Seed was quick to affirm that he has no personal differences with the controversial musician, and was just stating facts.

“I don’t have anything personal against him. I am just stating facts, plus I have never been at loggerheads with him. It is just a fact that he never comes through for anyone,” he added.

Mr. Seed’s album launch that occurred on Tuesday September 13, 2021 was graced by notable figures in the entertainment industry. Speakers at the launch, praised Seed for weathering the storm despite a recent efflux of artists from the gospel industry to the secular industry.

Guests at the launch showered the gospel artist with goodies and cash gifts. Singer Bahati gave the gospel artiste Ksh200,000 as comedian Eric Omondi made a pledge, that he has since delivered, of Ksh1m.

Seed’s album, dubbed the Black Child, entails 10 songs that he has featured different artistes drawn from Kenya and other African nations.
