Two administration police officers were on Saturday morning nabbed in possession of Ksh7 million believed to be part of the Ksh72 million which was stolen while being taken to a Nairobi West ATM on Thursday.

Chris Ayenda Machogu was arrested driving in Kisii Town with Ksh4 million stashed in his vehicle.

Machogu led DCI’s Special Crimes Prevention Unit (SCPU) to the home of another suspect, Wycliffe Owuor, in Kendu Bay in Homa Bay County, where Ksh3 million was recovered.

Also found at Owuor’s home was an alleged stolen Subaru Forester of registration plate number KCB 649Z.
