Malaria has killed four people following an outbreak in 10 villages in Taity Sub-County, Baringo.
About 100 others are receiving treatment in local dispensaries.
Baringo County health department said it dispatched a team of medical doctors to the affected villages as it seeks to contain the recurring disease.
According to the Baringo Health minister Mary Panga the patients are suffering from symptoms such as vomiting, headaches and fever which she said indicates early stages of malaria development.
