Kenya’s top content platform K24 Plus and K24 Tv will on Monday, May 23 air Samuel Eto’o’s farewell match which will be held in Milan, in the iconic “San Siro” stadium.

The football match aims to bring together institutions, fans, clubs and football schools to achieve a great goal of spreading the culture of integration and inclusion and fighting any form of discrimination from the stadium and from the society at large.

Many football legends will take part in this charity match – whose revenues will be donated to some NGOs founded by Eto’o himself – to celebrate the former Cameroonian striker and current President of his national Football Federation.

The star-studded event will include the retired striker’s former opponents and teammates from FC Barcelona and FC Inter, plus some of the brightest stars of the sport whose careers are still ongoing.

Two mixed teams will be composed of around 40 athletes coming from all five continents, and also four female footballers will be playing on the pitch. The match will be steered by a full team of female officials.

The match will last 70 minutes instead of the usual 90, divided into two equal halves of 35 minutes with the kick-off around 21:45 EAT.
