Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju has come out guns blazing and sent a stern warning to Deputy President William Ruto over his alleged bad behaviour.
Tuju urged Ruto to cool his heels and not ‘cross the line’ given that president Uhuru Kenyatta has been so telerant.
His sentiments come days after Ruto made a spirited fightback over allegations of whipping up a false hustler narrative, insisting he is a true son of the soil who has risen from grass to grace.
Ruto publicly listed some of his sources of income, revealing he earns Ksh1.5 million a day from his Koitalel poultry farm, which is home to 200,000 chickens.
The DP also said he owns 400,000 shares of telecom giant Safaricom and a further 8,000 shares of Kenya Airways.
Tuju was unable to comprehend how DP Ruto acquired the said wealth.
“We would want to congratulate the Deputy President for making such strides in business while concurrently studying for PhD, running an empire, working as the Deputy President, campaigning for presidency and still sparing time to do Harambee from his hard-earned sweat money,” Tuju said.
