Ben Pol, Harmonize, Ali Kiba among artists handed ambassadorial roles in Tanzania

Tanzania government through the Minister of State in the Vice President’s office- Selemani Jafo has appointed several artists as the Environment Conservation Ambassadors in the country.

The artists include singer Ben Pol, Harmonize, Alikiba, and actor Idris Sultan among others.

Ben Pol was officially appointed as the ambassador for Environment Conservation following his role on the conservation scene over the last few years.

In a statement, his appointment comes years after his first appointment as ambassador for WildAid in 2015.

In 2019, the ‘Moyo Mashine’ singer became an ambassador for Justdigit and now he has been appointed to represent WWF Tanzania.

Ben Pol hopes to raise awareness of sustainable goals which relate to life on land.

Through his management, he attributed his motivation to his belief that nature and humanity can thrive together.

“I strongly believe that nature and humanity can thrive together and want to make this a reality for my son and for all Tanzanians. My objective is to become a role model and to work towards a bright and sustainable future for the new generation, one that is respectful of nature and the environment at large,” Ben Pol stated.
