Kenyan beautypreneur and social influencer Michelle Ntalami has listed things and items she got rid of a year after giving her life to Christ.

Taking to her Instagram account on Friday, December 27, 2027, Michelle, reminiscing about her salvation journey shared a video of her burning and tearing down things she unknowingly made idols in her life and was displeasing to God.

“This is almost exactly a year ago on New Year’s Eve last year. God led me to burn and tear down altars of things and items that were either displeasing to Him, or I had unknowingly made idols in my life.

“At the time, I had no idea why God was leading me to do this as this was a first for me. I took this video so that a year later, I can understand exactly what He was up to. Now, I cannot tell you the world of difference this has made in my life! A lot of temptations, anxiety, painful experiences and strange occurrences left my life,” Michelle disclosed.

Lists of items

The items which she termed as ungodly included alcoholic drinks, fashion wear and sources of entertainment.

“Some of the main things He led me to get rid of were, all alcohol & drinking games, all horoscopes and anything to do with astrology including its stones or jewellery, nope! I am no longer a ‘Cancer.’

Certain gifts, keepsakes and photos from my previous life, certain collectables from my travels, like this mask I got during a Mardi Gras carnival in Europe, certain social media platforms and my home at the time,” she listed.

She went on to list explicit and salacious items that she did away with.

“Novels and books, notes and letters, indoor games, music and outfits,” she added.

Michelle on getting saved

On May 21, 2024, the businesswoman took to her social media account to celebrate nine months in Christ.

The Marini CEO revealed that her life-changing encounter with God was the genesis of her spiritual journey.

On the 21st of August 2023, I had a life-changing encounter with God Himself. As an astute businesswoman, life was beautiful. However, behind the success lay a heart that was deeply wounded by different human experiences along the journey of my life exactly 9 months today,” she revealed.

Explaining her spiritual journey, Ntalami held that she heard a voice calling her name thrice and saw visions.

A thunderous, beautiful voice called my name “Michelle” 3 times. He blinded me and threw me to the floor. At that moment, I knew I was in the presence of the Lord! God showed me visions and spoke to me about many things in my life. The depth of this entire conversation and experience cannot be put into words. I will share in time,” she explained.
