City lawyer Willis Otieno has termed the unfortunate fatal shooting of the late Kyalo Mbobu as a cowardly act.

Through his X handle on Tuesday, September 10, 2025, Willis Otieno did say that he strongly condemns the brutal assassination of Mbobu, describing it as an assault not just on his family and colleagues, but on justice itself. He added that the perpetrators must be brought to book swiftly and conclusively.

“I strongly condemn the brutal assassination of Kyalo Mbobu, a fine practitioner and an excellent teacher of law. This cowardly act is an assault not just on his family and colleagues, but on justice itself. The perpetrators must be brought to book swiftly and conclusively. May his soul rest in peace,” Willis wrote on X.

The death of Kyalo Mbobu, a respected lawyer and former Chairperson of the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal (PPDT), has shocked the nation.
