Police officers were on Thursday morning forced to disperse chaotic boda boda riders, who had milled around a tent, where Okoth’s coffin was placed.
The boda boda operators drawn from Kibra Constituency had made their way to Moi Girls’ High School in their tens, and upon arriving at the venue, they proceeded straight to the tent and started hooting and wailing as they rode around the tent.
Police, who had been assigned to provide security at the venue, managed to chase the chaotic boda boda riders away.
It took nearly 10 minutes to for order to be restored.
ODM leader, Raila Odinga, arrived at the venue at 11:10am.
