Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF)  leader Kalonzo Musyoka is leading a high-powered delegation of leaders from across the country to Bondo, Siaya County, to mourn the late Raila Amollo Odinga.

Speaking during a press briefing in Kisumu on Thursday, November 6, 2025, before embarking on the journey,  Kalonzo said the delegation represented unity among Kenya’s opposition leaders and reaffirmed their commitment to preserving Raila’s legacy.

“I am dressed like this because I have come to mourn my late brother Raila Amollo Odinga, with whom we went to the trenches to give this country a good, reputable, and respectable democratic nation. The type of nation young people have been looking forward to. I came dressed this way to honour the father of maandamano. We resisted bad governance, and Kenyans are still resisting.”

“We are united in mourning Raila Odinga. That’s why we have come, and we like what we are seeing. The people of Kisumu and Siaya have really welcomed us,” Kalonzo said.
