Kenya’s COVID-19 cases now at 32,803

Kenya recorded 246 new COVID-19 infections on Tuesday, August 25, pushing the country’s caseload to 32,803, Health Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) Dr. Rashid Aman said.
The new cases were discovered in 4,149 samples.
Dr. Aman, who addressed journalists at Afya House in Nairobi, further revealed that fatalities in Kenya reached 559 Tuesday after five more patients died of the disease.
The country’s total recoveries stood at 19,055 after 160 were declared virus-free.
