“I want to ask you to be wise to benefit from good leadership. This government is keen to bring development and empower people financially, unlike others who are focused on taking us back,” she said.

Nyamu’s comments follow after Rangwe Member of Parliament Lilian Gogo castigated critics of the broad-based government led by President William Ruto as dreamers.
Speaking during an empowerment forum in Muhoroni on Friday, July 25, 2025, the legislators stated that those clamouring for Ruto to vacate were dreaming.
“I want to tell those who are thinking that Ruto is going anywhere, my friends, you’re dreaming. Ruto is two-term. We are in this broad-based, and if Baba says it right, we go with him. He is now working with the president, and we are firmly behind him and the president,” she stated.
The function saw speaker after speaker rally support for the Ruto-Raila pact, with the MP further thanking the government for reviving the Harambee spirit through the economic forum.
