Isaac Mwaura: I visited heaven in 2021, saw roads of gold
By Nancy Marende, August 15, 2025Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura has shared a personal testimony claiming that he toured heaven on May 2, 2021, an experience he says transformed his life forever.
Speaking about the encounter on a local TV station on August 15, 2025, Mwaura recounted that after a period of prayer and fasting, he woke up one morning to find himself “in another place.”
“On May 2, 2021, I had a tour of heaven, amazing. I used to pray and fast, among other things. Then one day I woke up in the morning, nikajipata niko mahali kwingine. It was beautiful, with roads made of gold and houses that looked like they had life. According to Mwaura, the people he saw there had bodies “not made of this soil” and were “beautiful”. He described the quality of gold as far superior to anything found on Earth, with even the stones beneath the roads made of gold.
Other revelations
He said he could not tell whether he was in the body or in the spirit during the experience, but when he returned, he noticed that several hours had passed.

Mwaura concluded by affirming that the experience deepened his conviction as a born-again believer, saying his life has never been the same since.
