Governor Ole Ntutu elated as son marries long-time partner in lavish Maa wedding

In a post shared on Facebook on Saturday, November 22, 2025, Ntutu described the day as remarkable not only for his family but also for the broader community.
He wrote about stepping out in style, with grace, flavour, and grandeur, and invited everyone to celebrate the joyous occasion.
“Stepping out in style, with grace, flavour and grandeur. Today is a remarkable day for my family, for my son, and for the great people of Narok County,” he wrote.

The governor emphasised that the wedding was a day of love, celebration, and memories, highlighting the significance of the union for both his son and daughter-in-law.
He wished the couple a lifetime of harmony, prosperity, and abundant blessings, underlining the importance of family and community in this milestone.
“It is a day of joy, a day of celebration; the Wedding Day! Karibuni nyumbani, and may this occasion be filled with love, unity and abundant blessings. Moments, captured in time, making memories, during my son’s wedding, here at home. My son, my daughter, congratulations!” the governor added.
The ceremony itself was a vivid showcase of Maa culture, featuring traditional attire, music, and rituals that brought together families and communities in a vibrant display of heritage and togetherness.
Joining the celebration were Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku and Samburu Governor Lati Lelelit, who attended alongside family and close friends.
Governor Lenku described the event as a moment of great joy for the Maa community, praising the beauty, unity, and cultural significance of the wedding.
“Today, I had the honour of joining His Excellency the President and my brother Samburu Governor H E Lati Lelelit as we celebrated a moment of great joy in our Maa community, the wedding ceremony of Jordan Ntutu, son of my brother and colleague H E Governor Patrick Keturet Ole Ntutu and his beautiful bride, Abigael Moriaso, held at Olorpirik in Ilmotiok Ward,” he wrote on Facebook.
He emphasised that marriage is more than the union of two individuals but a bond that unites families and strengthens community ties.
“This colourful and dignified ceremony reflected the true spirit of our Maa people, unity, respect, culture and the deep value we place on family. It was a powerful reminder that marriage is not just a union of two individuals but a bond between families and communities,” he added.
