Wilson Sossion’s mother Ruth Chepng’eno Sossion has passed away.

In a statement on Sunday, October 8, 2023, the former Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) boss said that the mother collapsed at home and was pronounced dead on arrival at Tenwek Hospital.

“It is with deep shock and sorrow that we announce the passing on to glory of our beloved mother Ruth Chepng’eno Sossion. She collapsed at home and was pronounced dead on arrival at Tenwek Hospital,” Sossion said.

Newly appointed Government Spokesperson Isaac Mwaura was among the first government officials who sent his condolence message to the former nominated MP.

“My most sincere condolences to my elder brother and friend Wilson Sossion, on the passing on of your dear mother, early this morning,” Mwaura said.
