Twitter has announced a purge against dormant accounts.
In a statement, Twitter owner Elon Musk said that the social media giant will purge accounts that have had no activity for several years.
As a result, several Twitter accounts will lose a number of followers.
“We’re purging accounts that have had no activity at all for several years, so you will probably see follower count drop,” Musk stated.
