Azimio la Umoja- One Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga celebrates his 78th birthday today.
Raila’s new milestone comes as the former prime minister faces speculation about his imminent retirement from active politics and numerous questions on whether he’s too old to serve and/or mount a contest in a presidential run.
However, Odinga, for his part, maintains that he is yet to bow out saying he is working on revamping the ODM party in preparation for the next election.
Raila would be an unprecedented 82 years old by the start of his first term if he were to run and win the 2027 presidential election.
