The crimes are said to have been reported at Merti Police Station, Isiolo Police Station and Archers Post Police Station respectively.

The police said the suspect has since pleaded guilty to the charge of robbery with violence charge and is set to be arraigned in court on May 30 to face other charges.

“The suspect has ‘pleaded not guilty’ to a robbery charge. He has been remanded at Isiolo GK Prison, awaiting Mention on 30th May 2023 when other charges will be preferred,” NPS said.

In a separate incident on Friday, police in Nandi have arrested one person for the offence of brewing illicit alcohol.
