Gov’t to release results of 2024 Form One placements on Monday

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu is set to release the results of the 2024 Form One placement on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Lenana School in Nairobi.

In a statement on Friday, December 15, Machogu said that he would also announce a roadmap for the implementation of education programs at field offices and schools across the country.

“The agenda of the meeting will be the implementation of education programs at the field offices and schools across the country. The Cabinet Secretary will also release the results of the 2024 Form One placement exercise at the same venue,” the statement read.

This announcement comes as parents, guardians, and students eagerly await the results of the Form One placement exercise after the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exam results were released a few weeks ago.

1,406,557 await the Form One placement results

 Machogu on Thursday, November 23, 2023, released the (KCPE) examination results.

1,406,557 candidates sat for the 2023 KCPE examinations.

Some 8,525 candidates scored between 400-500 marks, while 352,782 candidates scored 300-399 marks.

A total of 658,278 candidates attained a score of 200 to 299 marks with 383,025 others scoring between 100 to 199 marks. Some 2060 pupils attained between 001 and 099 marks.
