‘Baby girl ameiva’: Kinuthia claps back after Mosiria warns him against cross-dressing
By Steve Ireri, August 3, 2026Content creator Kevin Kinuthia has clapped back at Nairobi County CEC for Customer Engagement Geoffrey Mosiria after the county official urged him to come clean about his identity following his appearance in a figure-hugging dress at singer Nadia Mukami’s music event.
In a TikTok video shared on the night of Sunday, August 2, 2026, Kinuthia reflected on Mosiria’s strong remarks directed at him, saying he could not believe that the county official had suggested that he might be hiding his true sexuality under the guise of being a cross-dressing content creator.
Kinuthia, however, appeared to brush off the claims, jokingly questioning whether it was him who was hiding behind content creation or whether content creation was the one hiding behind him.
“Naskia najificha kwa content ama ni content inajificha ndani yangu,” he wrote.
Kinuthia then appeared to hit back at the county official by embracing his feminine persona, describing himself as a girl and suggesting that he continues to wear women’s clothing because he is beautiful and bears an unmistakable resemblance to other women.
“Cheki dem. Baby girl ameiva,” he added.
Kinuthia’s response came shortly after Mosiria publicly questioned his decision to cross-dress and challenged him to explain whether his dressing style was purely for content creation.
In a TikTok video on the same day, the former environment CEC argued that Kinuthia should stop using content creation as an explanation for his feminine appearance, claiming that his presentation had become a public nuisance and could negatively influence younger generations.
“Kinuthia, stop hiding behind content creation. And using content creation to defend why you cross-dress. Yes, you may be earning from it, but it is becoming a nuisance for the public, and it is spoiling generations,” Mosiria said.
The Nairobi County official also questioned Kinuthia’s decision to consistently wear women’s clothing, maintain feminine hairstyles and nails, and adopt mannerisms that Mosiria associated with women.
“Guys, allow me to address this matter because it is painful to me. I have seen a video of Kinuthia arriving at Nadia Mukami’s event dressed like a woman, accompanied by another woman. And I asked myself, ‘Kinuthia, please tell us, which side are you on?” he added.
Mosiria further raised concerns about Kinuthia’s influence on young boys, claiming that he had encountered some Kisii boys who dressed like women and identified Kinuthia as their mentor.
“I have seen some Kisii boys dressing like women, and when I asked them who their mentor was, they said it was Kinuthia. Are you trying to tell us that we should normalise this? You do everything like a woman, yet we are expected to assume that you are a man. If you want to come out as a woman, then come out and go to the US. They have technologies there that can change your body parts to those of a woman,” he said.
