16 casualties have been reported in an accident that happened in the Galaxy area of Bomet County, involving two PSV matatus.
According to the Kenya Red Cross, nine have been taken to various hospitals, while seven were given first aid and released to go home.
“A mass casualty incident has been reported in the Galaxy area of Bomet County, involving two PSV matatus. Among the 16 reported casualties, three have been evacuated to Tenwek Hospital, six to Texas Hospital and seven received first aid from the Red Cross Action team,” Kenya Red Cross stated.
The scene has been cleared by the Kenya Police.
