Christopher Koloti’s best moment in AFC Leopards’ colours

Koloti’s departure, confirmed by the club on Saturday, July 25, 2026, marks the end of a three-year association in which the forward helped Ingwe secure a runners-up finish during his final season with the blue-and-white army under coach Fred Ambani.
The highly rated youngster emerged from obscurity during the Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) games while playing for Kakamega High School. He later competed in the third-tier league for the school team, Green Commandos, before making his move to Ingwe.
Koloti earned his senior debut in June 2024, replacing Maxwell Otieno, a moment that marked the beginning of a memorable stint with the club, which saw him affectionately earn the nickname ‘The Bull’.
During his time at the club, he also earned caps for the Kenya U20 national side.
Known for bullying defenders by using his frame to his advantage, most of his goals came in trademark physical fashion—save for his strike against APS Bomet, which provided his most memorable moment for the Ingwe faithful.
Strike against KCB
In a first-leg clash against Robert Matano’s KCB, Leopards needed a victory to sustain their strong league run, and the task fell to Koloti late in the match. In the 71st minute, AFC broke down the right flank.
Showing his predatory instincts, Koloti battled through pressure from Humphrey Mieno and a center-back to arrive in time, redirecting Ronald Sichenje’s low cross past the goalkeeper to put Leopards 2–1 ahead. The strike was his first goal of the season and proved crucial in keeping Ingwe in the title chase following earlier goals from Boniface Munyendo and KCB’s Francis Kahiro.
‘The Bull’ vs APS Bomet
On a night featuring one of the most improbable comebacks in recent league history, the striker affectionately known as “The Bull” produced a delightful dink over the Bomet goalkeeper.
Trailing by two goals, Ingwe mounted a late comeback. To seal the victory for Fred Ambani’s side, Koloti latched onto a weighted forward pass from skipper Victor Omune, drove into the box, and beat the goalkeeper from an acute angle with a lofted chip into the far corner.
Leopards vs Kakamega Homeboyz
Before officially signing his senior contract, Koloti featured in a showcase exhibition match at Bukhungu Stadium and scored the lone winning goal, convincing club management to seal his transfer from Green Commandos.
Mathare United at Dandora
Another standout moment came in a 3–1 victory over Mathare United at Dandora Stadium. Koloti finished off a fluid interplay involving Brian Wanyama and Ronald Sichenje to double Leopards’ lead, putting the game out of reach against a resilient Mathare side.
