Murkomen’s millions
Shortly after the win, CS Murkomen took to his social media pages: ”Congratulations, once again, AP’s Bomet FC on your big win against Bandari FC today. A streak of 9 games unbeaten is massive. As a Patron, I’m incredibly proud of you all. Kama kawaida, nitacheza kama mimi.”
After a tightly contested first half ended goalless, APS Bomet found the breakthrough in the 67th minute through Hillary Juma, who capitalised on one of the visitors’ most effective attacking moves to silence the home crowd.
Bandari pushed forward in search of an equaliser and controlled much of the ball possession with 56 percent compared to APS Bomet’s 44 percent. The hosts also attempted 227 passes with an impressive 83 percent accuracy and won eight corners during the match.
However, APS Bomet remained dangerous on the counterattack and made better use of their chances. Their efficiency in front of goal was reflected in a superior shot accuracy of 53 percent compared to the Dockers’ 36 percent.
As Bandari committed numbers forward late in the game, APS Bomet sealed the victory deep into stoppage time when Philip Wasai struck in the 90+2 minute to make it 2-0 and secure all three points.

The visitors registered 15 shot attempts against KPA’s 14 and showed resilience defensively throughout the encounter.
Bomet’s goalkeeper Maxwell Muchesia emerged as the standout performer and was deservedly named Man of the Match after an outstanding display between the posts. Muchesia made five saves, recorded 19 successful claims, and completed three successful runouts. He also posted an impressive 95 percent claim efficiency and 75 percent runout efficiency to frustrate Bandari’s attack.
