FKF golden boot race: Waithira pulls ahead, Michira and Adukwaw close in

Waithira was the week’s most outstanding player with his back-to-back brace, continuing his splendid form in the local league.
Straight from a similar feat against Ulinzi Stars, the mercurial captain led from the front as Seal shot down APS Bomet 2-1 adding Sammy Pamzo’s side to their recent list of casualties.
The attacker converted from the spot to spark Seal’s victory over the League newbies.
He left it late to secure the hosts’ maximum points, with a thunderous shot to the roof of the net for Seals’s second goal and his second.
Waithira extends scoring run
The feat lifted his goal hail to 12 making him the outright lead scorer heading to round 20 matches.
The penalty was his third spot kick converted in the campaign.
Gor Mahia’s Ebenezer Adukwaw also added to his scoring tally with his third goal in K’Ogalo’s victory over struggling Sofapaka.
Adukwaw , Michira hits six goals
Adukwaw ranked four goals heading into the Week 19 games and made it back-to-back goals against Sofapaka by converting the 31st-minute spot kick after Shariif Musa was clattered into inside the box.
The goal places him as Gor’s second-best scorer in the season after the injured Felix Oluoch (7 goals).

Shabana’s Byan Migitro also joined the company of players on six league goals after his controversial penalty in Tore Bobe’s solitary goal victory over Bandari at the Gusii Stadium.
The attacker was among the players who bagged back to back goals, having also found the net in the 3-3 draw away to APS Bomet last Saturday.
In Bukhungu, Oliver Majaka of Homeboyz was also among the best movers in the individual performance.
His goal and assist show at Bukhungu saw him take his league tally to five goals.
The striker is now Homeboyz’s lead marksman with Potiphar Odhiambo, who also bagged a goal in the draw, coming second with four goals.
