Arsenal and Chelsea reveal 2026/27 final Premier League squads ahead of derby

The London rivals go head-to-head in a Matchday 3 fixture for an early renewal of rivalry among the Premier League’s best six teams as the defending champions welcome a revamped Blues side.
London Derby awaits
The encounter will kick off at 6:30 pm at Emirates Stadium.
In the squad, the league organisers have published the final squads from each English side containing no more than 17 players who do not fulfil the “Home Grown Player” (HGP) criteria, a criterion that applies to foreign players who join an English or Welsh academy before age 18 and stay for three years or
The lists also contain an additional list of each club’s registered Under-21 players who are eligible over and above the squad limit of 25 players.
The Blues squad also includes defensive pair Jorrel Hato, Joshua Acheampong, and Shumaira Mheuka, who bagged the 2026 Premier League 2 Player of the Season award among those listed in the U21 players category.

Xabi Alonso’s side has already shown early intentions of challenging champions Arsenal for the Premier League title after opening their two games on winning starts.
The Blues edged Fulham 3-2 to kick off Alonso’s era on a win before running out Brighton 4-3 in their matchday two thriller at Stamford Bridge.
