Charlton boss provides key injury update on Collins Sichenje
Charlton Athletic boss Nathan Jones has shed light on the expected return of defender Collins Sichenje, who has been out of action since late February for the Championship club.
Sichenje, a January arrival at the southwest London club, has missed up to three fixtures for the Addicks with a hamstring injury.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, the gaffer revealed that the Kenyan international is among a group of six players on short-term injuries expected back to the first team after a couple of weeks after the international break.
“The squad is looking very good; we’re getting a few closer. After this game, we have a two-week break where we can look at getting as many players as we possibly can back for the final push,” he said, as quoted by the club.
Jones will lead the team this Saturday, March 21, 2026, as they host Norwich City at the Valley in a City Championship starting at 6:00 pm.

The team will be looking to build on their recent form, having taken seven points from a possible nine last week.

Injury list
Other injury concerns for Addicks include Reece Burke (thigh), Luke Berry (thigh), Harvey Knibbs (ankle), and Matty Godden (hamstring), while Josh Edwards (ankle) will miss the rest of the season.
Norwich currently sits just above Charlton at 12th in the Championship table, with a tally of 51 points from 38 games.
Philippe Clement’s men suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat at Southampton in midweek and will be out to make amends in the encounter.
They have won 10 of their 14 league fixtures in 2026.
Head-to-head
Charlton and Norwich have gone toe-to-toe on 83 occasions, with the Addicks winning 34, the Canaries winning 30, and the remaining 19 encounters ending in draws.
The two sides last met on Boxing Day, when Norwich ran out 1-0 victors at Carrow Road.
