The stadium, which has hosted several major international sporting events in the past, boasts a capacity of 48,000 spectators and remains a key facility in Kenya’s sports infrastructure.

Nyayo National Stadium has been listed as the alternative venue for the tournament. The iconic stadium in Nairobi has undergone renovations in recent years and is expected to play a significant supporting role during AFCON 2027.
