The Gen Z supporter’s show of unwavering loyalty melted the legislator’s heart, with photos showing the tattoo going viral.
Signalling his intention to reward the youthful supporter, Babu noted that loyalty must be rewarded in equal measure in installments.
“I am looking for this loyal Kenyan. Loyalty must be rewarded in instalments,” Babu wrote in a statement on his official Facebook account on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.

“Kuna tattoo nilichora nikiwa form four, siku chora niliandika Babu Owino so ni jamaa nimetambua kutoka kitambo, ya kwanza nilichorwa na Ksh3500, ya pili imenichukua Ksh10,000 (I tattooed Babu Owino’s name while in form four, at a cost of Ksh35,000 for the first one and Ksh10,000 for the second one),” she disclosed.
Babu has expressed interest in ODM party leadership and is also keen on clinching the Nairobi governorship seat in the 2027 general election.
