She wailed loudly, placing her hands on her head, while tears streamed down her face, embodying the profound loss felt by those closest to the comedian. Their daughter also struggled during the viewing, nearly collapsing as she held onto the coffin, forcing relatives to support her as the grief intensified.
2. Police and medical reports surrounding death
MC Pilipili, born Emmanuel Mathias, died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 16, while en route to Dodoma to host an event.
The chief medical officer, Dr Ernest Ibenzi, confirmed that the comedian was dead upon arrival at the hospital.
His elder brother, Christopher Mathias, explained that preliminary investigations indicated he had sustained severe injuries inflicted by unidentified individuals, ultimately causing his death.
