By Paulette Mboga, December 10, 2025Pritty Vishy has opened up about her weight-loss journey, saying she worked extremely hard to reach her current weight.
She explained that her transformation did not come easy and shared the emotional and physical battles she faced along the way.
On Wednesday, he said, “I have worked so f*cking hard to see myself here, yes, I used Ozempic, yes, I did surgery.”
She questioned why people only focus on the methods she chose and ignore the struggle behind them.

“Why don’t you talk about the days I cried hard in the gym!? Why don’t you talk about how I hated myself in that 112kgs!!” she said.
Pritty added that she was only 22 years old when she weighed 112 kg. She explained that she had been big for a long time and decided to take a path that worked best for her.
She said she still stands by her choice, noting, “I still could choose it.”

Pritty also described the morning of her surgery, saying it was one of the most confusing days in her journey. She said her surgery was scheduled for 5 am, meaning she was supposed to be in the hospital earlier, but she arrived at 6:50 am because she was overwhelmed by thoughts. She said she kept asking herself many questions that she could not answer.
Pritty shares tense moments inside the operating room
She recalled entering the theatre with only her bestie and her weight loss doctor by her side. Before she was taken in, she said she waved at them “in case ninyurie bana.” Inside the operating room, she said her surgeon looked at her and told her, “Panda kitanda.”
She immediately climbed on the bed and lay down, which shocked him. She said the surgeon looked surprised and asked her, “huogopi?” He then brought the machine used to check her heartbeat and tested her.
According to Pritty, the surgeon told her, “kuna wamama/wasichana wakiingia hapa wananzanga kulia, ama wanakuanga na uoga mpaka ukiskia heart beat yake unamuhurumi, but wewe hata hushtuki.”

Pritty said she smiled at him, even though, in her mind, she was thinking, “weh si mnianzie nitoke hapa.”
Pritty showed that her journey involved pain and that her transformation was not just about procedures but also about the effort she put in before and after surgery.
