Wode Maya opens up on raising money to support couples struggling with miscarriages

Speaking in an interview, in a video shared on Thursday, January 15, 2026, Maya explained that he is using his platform to educate young people struggling with child bearing.
He went on to disclose that he will be raising funds amounting to Ksh129,410,000 to support young couples going through miscarriages.
“I am going to use my platform to educate people, and I am ready to raise one million dollars to support young couples who are going through miscarriage, and they have no funds,” Maya said.
“I am going to take it upon myself to fund such people,” Maya explained.
Wode Maya’s reflection after 6 pregnancy losses with Miss Trudy
This comes just days after Maya opened up about the heartbreak he and his Kenyan wife, Trudy Juma, alias Miss Trudy, endured over the years in their marriage.
In an emotional post shared on his official social media pages on Sunday, January 11, 2026, Maya revealed that they lost six pregnancies before finally welcoming hope in 2025.
Maya went on and shared their heartbreaking journey, revealing that it began in September 2021, when they were told they could not have children.
He further stated that just three months later, in December 2021, he proposed to Miss Trudy. A year after that, in September 2022, they got married, a day that carried deep emotion as it marked the anniversary of the loss of Miss Trudy’s mother 13 years earlier.
“September 2021 — we were told we couldn’t have children. December 2021 — I asked her to be my wife,” he wrote.
“September 2022— we got married, on the same day she lost her mother 13 years earlier.”

Pregnancy in 2025
The YouTuber further revealed that in 2025, they became pregnant again after six heartbreaking miscarriages.
“After 6 heartbreaking miscarriages over the years, in 2025, we became pregnant again,” Wode Maya revealed.
He added that their journey, filled with challenges, losses, and tears, stands as a testimony of resilience, faith, and hope.
“Through every challenge, every loss, and every tear, our journey is a testimony of resilience, faith, and hope. God is the greatest,” he said, giving credit to God for guiding them through their struggles.
