Digital content creator Naomi Kuria has explained why many influencers choose to go public after undergoing cosmetic surgery.
While responding to a fan who questioned why influencers openly share their cosmetic procedures online, Naomi, on Sunday, December 14, 2025, took to her TikTok account and addressed the topic.
“My question is, with all these Social Media criticism…. Why can’t women just go for the makeover and keep it private? Make yourself happy! Everyone else has something to say,” a fan questioned.
In her response, she made it clear that money plays a big role in the decision, implying that many influencers are paid to promote clinics, doctors, or procedures after going through cosmetic surgery.
“Tumelipwa. Tuko kazi jamani,” Naomi Kuria said.
According to the digital content creator who has also been sharing her journey after undergoing an AirSculpt procedure, cosmetic surgery is often part of brand partnerships and paid collaborations, and influencers are required to document their journey, share results, and openly talk about the procedure as part of marketing agreements with clinics.
Cosmetic surgery
On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, the digital content creator opened up about undergoing an AirSculpt cosmetic surgery, revealing the cost she spent on the procedure.
Taking to her official Instagram account, she shared the details after she asked her fans to ask questions concerning the AirSculpt cosmetic surgery.
“Ask me about Airsculpt,” Naomi urged her fans.
“How much was the whole procedure?” fan asked. “Ksh690K,” Naomi answered.
She went on and explained how the procedure worked, adding that the excess fat was transferred to her legs.
“Before ata tuendeelee this is the procedure I did, and then I transferred the fat to my calves (legs),” she explained.
Naomi explained that AirSculpt is different from Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) because it is a minimally invasive body-sculpting procedure known for its quick recovery time and reduced scarring compared to traditional liposuction.

The only similarity is that they are both surgeries,” she explained.
According to her, the procedure was painful but very manageable due to the nature of the surgery done, adding that it can take a week to heal.
