Frankie Mesh says JCM pastor’s exit meant to divert attention from Roysambu demolitions
By David Nthua, March 6, 2026Content creator and TikToker Frankie Mesh has urged Kenyans to be careful with the exit of James Njoroge from Jesus Compassion Ministry, led by Ben Kiengei.
In a video shared on Facebook on Thursday, March 5, 2026, Mesh stated that it is sickening to see mothers and fathers wake up to the hollowing experience of flattened structures.
TikToker questions JCM Pastor’s exit
He was referring to the demolition of kiosks and roadside stalls at Roysambu roundabout carried out by the Kenya National Highways Authority.

According to Mesh, the public should not forget the traders who lost their businesses during the night demolitions.
“Njoroge James. It is said that he has already alighted from the matatu called Kiengei Airways and said it is better he uses a matatu,” Mesh said.
He added that the pastor’s exit from the church should not shift attention from the traders whose structures were demolished.
“There are many people whose businesses were demolished in Roysambu. The exit of James Njoroge from JCM should not make us forget the demolitions in Roysambu,” Mesh said.
Mesh also questioned the timing of the events.
“What a coincidence that when traders’ structures were demolished at night, another person quits and it becomes a story. Do you get it?” he posed.

Pastor Njoroge’s exit from JCM
Pastor James Njoroge confirmed his resignation from the church on Thursday, March 5, 2026, ending his five-year service under Bishop Kiengei.
In a statement shared on Facebook, Njoroge said he had decided after personal reflection.
“I have been soul-searching myself, and I have seen it worthy to step down from the church. This comes as a polite notice that henceforth I, Njoroge James and my family will no longer serve in JCM,” he stated.
Njoroge thanked Bishop Kiengei for the opportunity to serve in the ministry.

“It has been 5 amazing years serving under your able leadership and guidance,” he said.
His resignation came days after President William Ruto attended the ministry’s third-anniversary celebration.
As debate continues online, Mesh urged Kenyans to remain focused on the plight of traders affected by the Roysambu demolitions and to question where their leaders stand during such moments.
